Did you know, for example, that the world's first artificially established forests are located around Nuremberg? In the Peter Stromer House you can find out how and why. On the forest history educational trail you can marvel at other forms of use of the forests, some of which have already disappeared, right up to modern forestry. Find out, for example, what used to be made from the resin of the trees or from "seaweed" harvested in the forests. Or would you prefer to be active yourself? On the nature experience path in the outside area you can test whether you can jump as far as a fox or whether you can keep a "natural balance"! On weekends from March to October, the noris gastro forest café, a facility for people with disabilities, will spoil you with drinks and cakes.
