Type I and Type II Errors in Hypothesis Testing

In this video, we look at what are called "Type I" and "Type II" errors in hypothesis testing. In short, a Type I error is a false positive, and a Type II error is a false negative. In a Type 1 error, you rule out the null hypothesis, even though it is true. In a Type 2 error, you fail to rule out the null hypothesis, even though it is false.
