Over the years, the Ranabima Royal College Senior Brass Band has achieved numerous remarkable feats. One such pivotal moment was the introduction of the Rhythm Scope, which premiered in 2005. This event became an annual tradition, taking place in subsequent years, including 2005, 2007, 2011, 2013, 2015, 2019, and 2023, totaling seven instances. Notably, the years 2015 saw the band as the 1st runners-up in Prashasthi (Ananda College Colombo), and 2023 marked their victory in the Central Province Western music and dance Competition. What sets Ranabima Royal College Senior Brass Band apart is their distinction as All Island champions at the Western music and dance competition in 2019.
