On April 29th, 1974, Ken was visiting Genesis at the Swingos hotel in Cleveland before their performance at the Allan theatre. While Ken was in an elevator with Peter and his wife, Peter's wife said "There's a party going on and Peter hates these things. Was there some place Ken could take him to escape?" Ken and Steve were aspiring musicians and put together a studio, so he said "Sure, we can take him to the studio for a while." Thankfully, Ken and Steve started rolling tape, as we are treated to an hour of studio time with Peter, in a remarkable, more personal early interview than ever heard before. Peter talks about the very early days of Genesis, the background of Supper's Ready, and ideas for the album that would become The Lamb.
