So you're in Photoshop (or any other editing software) and you need to remove something distracting or expand the image by filling some space. You reach for the trusty tools that always come to the rescue, the clone stamp tool, the healing brush tool, the content aware fill options, the "remove stuff" list goes on. You do your cleaning and you continue your edit. You export the file and submit it to awards or post it on instagram. It doesn't get far - why? Look closer, and you might just find one of two things happening - a broken focal plane or a duplication mistake. The next most common issue is a masking edge gone crazy (check last week's video for help with that), but today we focus on the clean-up two. It's a lot more common than you'd think, but by learning about it and being aware, you'll be surprised by how much you can spot in your own images in the future.
