In this video I introduce you to the skull. It's essential to understand how to construct the skull because it's the underlying structure of any portrait you're going to draw or paint. In this video I take you through the initial proportions, and some abstraction lines that could be used to construct the skull. Then, I add structure and planes to the skull to give it solidity and form. Finally, I add my shadow mapping, as shadows help to reveal the form.
