Try these healthy and delicious barnyard millet’s steamed cakes that are filling and super yummy!! Pair Sama rice Idli or vrat ki idli with a big bowl of coconut chutney for a yum and perfecto meal!! Ingredients: 1cup Sama Chawal 1/4cup Sabudana/Sago 3/4cup Curd/Dahi Half cup of water 2tsp ginger and chili paste Salt to taste 2tbsp Oil Fruit salt/ENO Ingredients for Tadka: 2tsp Oil Pich of jeera Chopped green chili 7-8 curry leaves Method: Method 1. Mix Sama chawal and sabudana, crush in the mixture and make a fine flour 2. Add curd and water and mix properly, then cover it and keep it for fermentation for about 4-5 hours in a warm place 3. Then take the mixture and add oil, Sindh a salt and ginger-chili paste, then beat it properly to make it a proper mixture 4. Keep the steamer on another hand, grease a plate/thali. 5. Add eno to the mixture and spread in the plate/thali, then sprinkle sesame seeds and black pepper powder 6. Then keep the plate/thali in the steamer and steam it for 12-13 minutes. 7. After it gets steamed, spread oil on the idli/dhokla 8. For tempering, take oil, pieces of red chili and neem leaves and spread this on the idli/dhokla Note: The method for both Farali idli and farali dhokla is same you can either use a thali or an idli maker Try this delicious recipe.
