In Episode 8, we eat at a tonkatsu restaurant. We ate at Katsuan in Uruma, and it ended up being one of those simple but really satisfying meals. The restaurant had that clean, modern tonkatsu-shop feel—bright, organized, and relaxed—with the scent of freshly fried cutlets drifting through the air. After ordering, our food came out surprisingly fast, delivered on those little robot carts that roll right up to your table. It added a fun touch to the experience. The tonkatsu itself was the highlight: crispy on the outside, tender and juicy inside, with that rich Okinawan pork flavor you can actually taste. The shredded cabbage was fresh, and the rice and miso soup made the whole set feel complete. Everything was hot, well-seasoned, and comforting. It wasn’t a fancy place, but it was exactly what you want from a good tonkatsu spot—clean, quick, affordable, and delicious. Walking out, we both agreed we’d definitely eat there again.
