Lake Apopka Trail Race | My First Overall Podium Win!

Join me as I take you through a week of training leading up to the Lake Apopka 8 mile trail race! I ran alongside alligators and secured second female overall! The gravel course follows the Lake Apopka Loop Trail from Magnolia Park to the Historic Pump House and back. It was such a fun race, super scenic and filled with plenty of wildlife and a beautiful sunrise over the lake. Huge shoutout to Sommer Sports for an incredible event and props to my Run BMT teammates, Ryan and Tyler on a great day on the course as well. Have you run or cycled here?
