Abnormal opacification of paranasal sinuses on brain MRI was studied in 178 consecutive adult patients who underwent two examinations separated by at least 4 months because of suspected neurological disease. Sinus abnormality was present in 79 (44%) patients; in 60% the abnormality involved two or more sinuses and it was bilateral in 51%. The most frequently abnormal sinus was the maxillary (46%), followed by the ethmoid (32%), sphenoid (16%), and frontal sinuses (6%). Interval occurrence or complete resolution of abnormalities was observed in 52% of patients (66% of the sinuses). In the remaining 48% of patients the abnormalities were present on two or more examinations, unchanged or of increased or decreased severity. The most frequent interval changing abnormalities were complete sinus opacification and fluid levels, followed by irregular mucoperiosteal thickening more than 4 mm thick. No polypoid abnormalities (polyps or mucosal cysts) decreased over time. (1)-Sinus:The sinuses are a connected system of hollow cavities in the skull. The largest sinus cavities are about an inch across. Others are much smaller. Your cheekbones hold your maxillary sinuses (the largest). The low-center of your forehead is where your frontal sinuses are located (2)-Fistula:A fistula is an abnormal connection between two body parts, such as an organ or blood vessel and another structure. Fistulas are usually the result of an injury or surgery. Infection or inflammation can also cause a fistula to form 0:00 introduction of sinus 1:40 classification of sinus 7:00 classification of fistula sinus and fistula sinus and fistula difference sinus and fistula images sinus and fistula definition sinus and fistula - wikipedia sinus and fistula radiology sinus fistula and cyst of branchial cleft pilonidal sinus and fistula difference pilonidal sinus and fistula are sinus and fistula the same sinus fistula after tooth extraction sinus fistula anus sinus auricular fistula sinus arteriovenous fistula difference between sinus and a fistula pyriform sinus fistula and thyroid abscess is a sinus tract the same as a fistula sinus fistula branchial cyst between sinus and fistula difference between sinus and fistula slideshare difference between sinus and fistula in surgery difference between sinus and fistula in dentistry comparison between sinus and fistula relation between sinus and fistula difference between pilonidal sinus and fistula sinus fistula clinical features sinus fistula communication sinus fistula case study sinus fistula cpt code nasal fistula cleft palate nasal fistula cleft sinus cavernous fistula sinus fistula define different sinus and fistula sinus fistula def sinus fistula differential diagnosis nasal fistula dog sinus fistula eye examination of sinus and fistula can a sinus infection cause a fistula how to treat oroantral fistula sinus formation fistula homeopathic medicine for sinus and fistula what causes fistula formation can pilonidal sinus cause fistula sinus fistula healing nasal fistula human oroantral fistula healing time how to know if fistula is healing #DrTahezeeb #blind track #bay #an abnormal track #sinus and fistula
