These Otis elevators have a MALE voice this time instead of the common female voice, which is a pretty rare find. The low-rise elevators serve floors 2-12, the mid-rise bank serves floors 13 through 22, and the high-rise bank serves floors 23 through 35. There is a rooftop shuttle that's actually a birdcage elevator that goes from 35 through 40. Unfortunately, floor 35 is locked off so I cannot show you guys what the birdcage elevator looks like, even though another user was able to film that. Plus there is a keycard reader that is equipped behind the inspection certificate. MY THOUGHTS: These Otis' are super unique. I absolutely love the lantern and the call buttons at the lobby level. I also like the overall cab, even though it's pretty small. Same goes for the COP. This is probably the most interesting Otis that I have ever ridden on. Not in terms of what I just mentioned, but the voice is very rare, along with the ones at the Time-Life Building, and I don't really hear any male voices that often when riding in elevators. Very stylish elevators! CONNECT WITH ME ON INSTAGRAM @windycityelevators WANT TO REQUEST SOMETHING? LEAVE A COMMENT BELOW!
