Since I'd bought this bike (2000 KTM 640 LC4) I had constant electrical issues with it. It showed "erratic" running behavior - sometimes running fine for hundreds of kilometers and then suddenly shutting itself OFF and back ON in rapid succession. Sometimes refusing to start etc. The problem was in the wiring of the 12V supply from the battery to the KUKOSAN ignition module. Both the Side-Stand switch, the Start-Stop switch, and the connecting were deteriorated and had to be repaired/replaced. During the work, I had noticed a discrepancy in the original KTM's electrical wiring schematic. To my best knowledge, my correction shall correspond closer to what the actual wiring looks like.
