This video has been a long time coming. I’ve slept in this bedroom since I was a child... Which means I’ve also been storing years and years of things here. Craft supplies, school notebooks, horse ribbons, silly bands, old drawings, nostalgic packaging I “couldn’t” throw away… you name it. I’m one of those people who struggles to get rid of things. Not because I need them but because they hold memories. And somehow that makes them feel important. But a cluttered space really does create a cluttered mind. And this time, I decided we’re not doing that anymore. There were moments where I genuinely missed being a kid. And there were moments where I realized how much of what I was holding onto… was just trash. By the end of the day, I had space. Physical space, but also mental space. This felt less like cleaning and more like closing little chapters. Keeping what truly matters. Letting go of what doesn’t. Making room for the next version of me.
