With our beautiful parks and forests set to hit peak holiday season, we are focusing heavily on educating the community about what can be done to prevent bushfires starting. We have authorised officers across the state on patrol to make sure everyone is aware of what they should and shouldn’t do when visiting. They are on the lookout for things like unattended campfires, littering, damage to recreation sites, hooligan behaviour and arson. These activities pose a real risk and will not be tolerated.
