1951 Ford F1: Video #34 -- Beginning on the wood bed

With hopefully the nagging electrical and brake issues behind us, it's time to address something I've been wanting to get to on this truck: replacing the nasty old plywood bed with real wood. I want to try to do this myself, or at least as much as possible. First step is to assess the bed frame, which appears to be missing three (or four?) crossmember pieces. I have three that came with the truck, two of which are solid and one is in need of rust repair or replacement. Starting out by pulling out the plywood and laying in the crossmembers to see if I can figure out what goes where. I expect this will be a multi-stage process, so please join me on this journey! And if you've done this yourself, I'd welcome any advice in the comments.
