This case study investigates the integration of Visual Positioning System (VPS) based Augmented Reality (AR) to address these challenges. By leveraging AR technology, personalized virtual signage can be dynamically generated and presented directly to travelers via their mobile devices. This approach eliminates the need for physical signage and reduces the reliance on human guides, streamlining the dissemination of information in real-time. The VPS capabilities enable precise localization and orientation of travelers within their environment, facilitating the delivery of customized guidance tailored to individual needs and preferences. Through seamless integration with mobile devices, travelers can receive timely and contextually relevant information, enhancing their navigation experience amidst disruptions. Furthermore, the implementation of AR-based virtual signage not only improves accessibility for all travelers but also reduces the visual clutter associated with traditional signage methods.
