The suspect, 23-year-old Eshawn Langston – known for previous confrontations with law enforcement – ​​was in a vehicle with his 1-year-old child. Officers notified him of the arrest, but he refused to exit the vehicle. After multiple requests for compliance, officers forcibly entered the vehicle. The individual then attempted to flee, ramming a police vehicle and subsequent attempts to safely apprehend him included the use of a Taser.
