I'm excited to share some fun machine quilting techniques with you today. The quilt I'll be working on was made by my client Sandra, who sent it to me for custom machine quilting. I had a wonderful time adding intricate designs to highlight the corners and bring the center panel to life. In a brand new video in the PNQ Academy, I show my full process for machine quilting this quilt. I demonstrate two feather motifs using my Sway machine quilting rulers. I'll be using my Sway 5 and Sway 4 rulers, which have been incredibly helpful tools. I'll also show some markings with a blue mark b gone marker and discuss my thread choices. This is hand-guided machine quilting using my Gammill 22" machine. A ruler foot is essential when using quilting rulers. I also am using a layer of wool batting for extra loft and texture.
