The ABA Criminal Justice Section Standards is a project that was initiated almost sixty years ago to improve standards of practice in the criminal justice system. Chief among this body of work is the Prosecution Function Standards. Judge Tunheim chaired the task force that drafted the fourth edition Standards, and Rory Little served as the reporter for the task force. Along with former prosecutor Melba Pearson, they will discuss the Standards' approach to issues faced by prosecutors today.
