This mutation solo was performed under the conditions of TwoTuuu's Test Time rules. For an in-depth description of the test, please refer to TwoTuuu's Test Time associated with the commander being played. Kerrigan 100% Damage Test Time: • [Test Time] 100% Kerrigan Mutation Description: "Amon's terraforming of Veridia Prime has ravaged the planet's resources. You must brave catastrophic environmental conditions in order to secure the materials needed to build your army. Use caution, but don't delay. Every passing second brings the planet closer to destruction." Mutators: Slim Pickings - Player worker units gather resources at a reduced rate, but resource pickups spawn throughout the map. Self-Destruction - Enemy Heroic units increase the attack speed and armor of all enemies within a small range. Twister - Tornadoes move across the map, damaging and knocking back player units in their path. Special Notes: P2, Kerrigan Damage Only, Submission for TwoTuuu's Kerrigan Meme Test Time, LV 3 Enemy Composition Restriction Commander: Kerrigan Prestige: Folly of Man (P2) Advantages: -Kerrigan expends stacks of Fury while using Leaping Strike or Psionic Shift, striking nearby enemies for 50 damage and stunning them for 3 seconds. Disadvantages: -Kerrigan's Carapace generation reduced by 50%. -Kerrigan's ability damage reduced by 50%. Masteries: 30 Kerrigan Energy Regeneration, 30 Augmented Immobilization Wave, 30 Primary Ability Damage and Attack Speed Enemy Composition: Ravaging Infestation Kimmo's Notes: Being that this is largely a luck based map and how I generally disdain having to play against odds, this wasn't going to be much fun to play for me. If it's this alone, it would be tolerable but there's a number of other things that add on to the annoyance. There are a surprising amount of Corruptors situated all over the map. P2 Kerrigan is already frail because of the drawbacks and so many Corruptors around the map means that almost every time you push into a base, Kerrigan is going to be perpetually covered in that Zerg slime, causing her to take 35% more damage which is deceptively a lot, especially when compounded with P2 Kerrigan's frailty. Another thing that contributes to this are the Twisters around the map. You probably wouldn't think much of the Twisters since you're managing one unit throughout the game, not entire armies. But they still somehow find a way to become a factor. They can inconveniently be "protecting" Amon's army which can mess up your leaps and eat up your Fury stacks. They can also be complete trolls and block every avenue your Drones can take retreating with a crystal. I once had a run that couldn't get past 15 Crystals because at every turn, there was always a Twister at the wrong place at the wrong time. Eventually, P2's biggest drawback of reducing ability damage by 50% comes into play by the supreme late-game where armies are so large that they can easily overpower P2 Kerrigan with sheer numbers. It becomes virtually impossible to engage Amon's army without an Immobilization Wave available. If you haven't gotten at least 17 Crystals to this point, you might as well just reset because eventually, the enemies that will come for your base will pile up so much that no amount of Omega Worm stalling will buy you enough time to obtain the crystals you need. Otherwise, if you've been diligent with Omega Worm production, you can do some Omega Worm stalling on the side where you're not farming crystals where Amon's army will pass. I wanted to see if ability spam would still work so I chose Energy Regeneration but the diminished damage really is so awful for Kerrigan despite the spamability. If it wasn't already obvious by now, I definitely don't look at this run favorably but I got what I wanted out of it, at least.
