Arsenal Smart Assistant Focus stacking Tutorial

I got my arsenal smart assistant when it first came out as a kickstarter project: I believe that was about 2-3 years ago. Back then I was disappointed with its performance; it was slow, struggled with focusing; this resulted in this piece of tech being relegated to the cupboard with the rest of novelty tech that we buy and realise we don’t need later. By chance, I came across the new ad for arsenal 2; this made me think about my forgotten assistant. Heard there was an update which had improved performance, so I decided to give it a go, hence this video. Today I just focused on focus stacking; the plan is to try different features in different videos. I have to say, I was pleasantly surprised: focus stacking is actually good this time around; I think it’s to do with the update. As you can see in the video, the stacked pictures were much sharper, with less noise as compared to the single shots. In my next video I’m going to try landscape focus stacking; I’m also going to try macro focus stacking, though I think with the latter, arsenal might struggle as I don’t think you can zoom in on the screen to allow you to choose the different points for very small subjects; anyway, that’s for the next video.
