John 4:1-30 (The Woman at the Well): Jesus purposefully travels to Samaria to meet a woman with a troubled past, offering her "living water" right where she is. In the Gospels of Matthew, Mark, and Luke, Jesus heals an unnamed woman with a 12-year hemorrhage who touches the hem of his garment in a crowded street. Believing she would be cured, she touches his cloak, instantly stopping her bleeding. According to the Gospels (notably Luke 8:2 and Mark 16:9), Jesus healed Mary Magdalene by casting out "seven demons" that had tormented her, representing a state of severe physical or spiritual brokenness rather than moral wickedness.
