The Bride! is an upcoming American monster film written, directed, and produced by Maggie Gyllenhaal and starring Jessie Buckley, Christian Bale, Peter Sarsgaard, Annette Bening, Jake Gyllenhaal, and Penélope Cruz. The film draws inspiration from James Whale's 1935 film Bride of Frankenstein, itself adapted from Mary Shelley's 1818 novel Frankenstein; or, The Modern Prometheus.
