I saw this paint brush hack here on YouTube, and wanted to give it a go! It seemed easy enough... you just need some boiling water, soap and a bit of free time. Simple! Learning how to reshape a damaged brush, or fix an old brush can be really useful. If it works! I don't want to give too much away (you'll have to watch the video, and heck it's pretty darn short!) but I'm not 100% convinced I would give this another go. Mainly due to the time required, but maybe you think differently? Also, since we're a school we have a lot of brushes and trying to fix so many on a regular basis is a lot of work! As with a lot of things, the best course of action is PREVENTION. Clean your brushes before you dry them, and treat them with respect. A lot of our younger students don't quite grasp that concept yet, hence why we have a bunch of busted brushes! 😂 We'll have another arty video ready for you next Thursday, so see you then!
