Upon release the game was showered with critical praise and loved by gamers who played it. But its publisher, EA Games, made the less than stellar choice to release the game in the same window as Call of Duty and Battlefield 1 diminishing the games sales. Titanfall 2 was an immediate cult classic and while its players were irritated with the release the game has since garnered respectable sales numbers and is considered one of the best games of last generation. It also helps it's developer has since gone on to great success with Apex Legends and Star Wars Jedi Fallen Order. Now, five years after release, is Titanfall 2 still deserving of its cult status?
