I had brief window to hit the winding open road on the motorbike. I call her affectionately ‘RevYama’ 🏍. Us motorcycle riders like to give our bikes a name haha. It was my last chance to get into the AIR OUT THERE with her before putting RevYama to bed under her winter cover. So I thought of some fun things to pack! Soon it will be time to swap the camping/hiking/riding/paddling/free diving, etc gear for ski touring & winter adventure gear yeeeeew! Side note below, its not about the gear but attitude that determines experience you’ll have for adventures and life🤙🏽 For this film I packed the backpack with camera gear, threw in lil bit of tasty food to make on the trail with the backpacking camping stove, and finally remembered to bring the hammock ;-) I savoured a brilliant sunrise, breathed in the pure thick crisp fall forest and mountain air, marvelled at the Fall leaves in their brilliant colours drifting to settle on Terra Firma, and got that underneath the helmet wide grin while cruising the twisty's among the forested mountains. I stopped for coffee, explored a thick moss carpeted inland temperate rainforest with a gentle creek bubbling through it, strung the hammock among giant old growth trees, and drifted off to the sounds of the crystal clear mountain stream tumbling gently down the array of rocks. Later it was time to enjoy a simple fresh super tasty hot meal over the camp stove. Ride along, relax, enjoy!
