Fox Factory Float X2 RVS 2019 Shock Full Service Guide for Beginners. DON'T FORGET the sag ring! 😉

This is a full service video for a 2019 Fox Factory Series Float X2 RVS shock. The video will go over how to service the entire shock, including both compression and rebound dials.  The X2 is a nice shock, but it is known to leak air from the IFP chamber, which requires a bleed even if the seals are in good condition. In the video, I go over a bleed method that I believe is the simplest and most effective for this shock. Some professionals might find it excessive, but for people with less experience, I feel the bleed process in the video will provide them a high level of confidence on fully bleeding the system. I also go into replacing the seals in both the compression and rebound dials. I consider this an optional service. But it is possible that air can leak in the shock from one of the dial seals. If you find air is getting into the shock regularly, even after all the damper seals have been changed, the potential is high that the air is coming in from one of the dials, most likely one of the low speed compression dials. There aren't that many customer tools needed to service this shock. I go over this in the video. There are 3rd party options for the few custom tools, which will cost you MUCH less than buying the fox equivalents., I use these 3rd party tools in the video.
