Here we have the good ending to the game, which was the first ending I recorded due to me getting the Energy Fragment on accident. The ways to get it are as a drop from killing a worm, which is not the most reliable. Alternatively, if a Ranger uses Collect Pelt to kill a worm, you can reliably get it. Regardless, if you get the Energy Fragment during the fight, you will do the normal fight here, then the true final battle in the following fight. For the final battle, you will need a pair of Gunners to inflict status effects to disable the Immortals. They explode upon death unless crippled or muted (depending on the Immortal), and the Maw will siphon their health to sustain itself while pushing them toward detonating. Status effects only last one turn on them, so it is important to time the status effect well so you can pick them off while disabled. For this reason, I recommend bringing a pair. Once the Maw is defeated this time, people live somewhat happily ever after. At least until someone starts asking questions he shouldn't be asking...
