Now Veloziped offers up a pair of his forwards thinking electro-techno-bass fusions. He brings plenty of Detroit sensibilities to these tunes from the smudged Blade Runner chords to the beatdown on the flip. 'Future' is pure celestial electro with nimble drums and glistening synth lines that are for high-speed cruising. 'Them Detroit Contemporary Parties' slows to a heavyweight crawl with dusty samples, busted loops and a ramshackle feel that is alive and rugged and real.
