... in which I admit, I did it. After years of vacillation and insistence that I wasn't one of those 'Leica Owners', I'm now one of those 'Leica Owners'. A decision made out of (sort of) necessity, I settle in and take stock of how my life will progress now; a string of limousine rides and yacht parties and being nestled behind the gold VIP rope at exclusive nightclubs. More importantly my photos will finally be not shit, graced with the magic afforded by that lustrous red dot. ... or not. I slap on my Nikon 5cm S.C. f/1.4 and take it out for a spin with a roll of Kentmere 100 in Melbourne Victoria to see if I start attracting the admiring glances of beautiful women, handsome peers and the affection of children in prams who all want to be like me. Surprisingly, the photos don't look that different.
