How to fix VAX Blade dead or intermittent brush head - head motor not turning and LED not on

In this video I demonstrate how I fixed our VAX Blade brush head. It started to cut out when the head was turned to the left or right and then stopped working all together. If you can hear the motor running and the LED is on but the brush bar isn’t turning then you probably need a new belt so you only need to watch up to removing the side covers, the belt is very easy to replace. There’s a short length of cable connecting the plug of the head to the motor circuit board and it fractures where the head flexes. I was unable to find a replacement part on the internet so decided to make my own from some mains lead. The VAX in question was four years old and I think the repair will last another few years, time will tell. Anyway I hope the video is of help and many thanks.
