I had my first meeting with the "Etesian" or "Meltemi" winds as we sailed from Hydra boud for Milos. We started off in 20 knots of winds but suddenly we had over 30 knots apparent winds from behind with waves that made it difficult to navigate the direction we wanted to go. But we were in great spirit and the new swedish Mermaid handled it well.
