English German word calquing

In this video we discuss some words in common between German and English or rather, calquing words so they look German-like. This method can ease the pressure of learning either language if one knows how to use this mnemonic trick to turn words from German or English into the other. I personally used this to help me learn German, it’s really amazing how English can help someone learn any Romance or Germanic language. Oftentimes even grammar can be eased in this way like using “der” and connecting it to English “there”, for example. Taking the roots from German, morpheme (root by root) and turning them into English words with their correspondents.
