Covering Prep Part 1: Preparing Your RC Airplane for Covering

Hey guys, Thanks for tuning in for this video covering series! As we go thru these videos together I want to be clear that I am no expert builder, but I do want to share my techniques on how I do thing and hopefully I can help someone out along the way! For the first video in this covering series I will be giving you guys a brief overview on the prep process before the covering begins! This will be split into a 2 part video so be sure you stay tuned for the second part! By no means is this step a quick process as I outline in the video. There are many hours behind the scenes with more of the processes seen in the video taking place! For our demonstrations I will be using a Top Flite P-51 that was given to me with most of the building work complete! I took it on as a mission to finish up what was missing and get this girl in the air for the spring! Theres a few blemishes in the kit but nothing that will stop it from flying, however being said some of these blemishes WILL result in some areas where the covering is not perfect! I know this would normally drive me a little crazy but I am going to build this plane for what it is, and use it as a teaching area! Throughout the series I will probably make a few mistakes, but these will also be great teaching areas and a way for you guy to see what you wish to do differently on your own birds!
