Alfred Russel Wallace was an explorer, collector, naturalist and more. He is jointly credited with Charlies Darwin as coming up with the theory of evolution by natural selection. Between July and November 2013, visitors to the Museum could follow in Bill Bailey's footsteps by exploring Wallace discovery trail, allowing them to retrace Wallace's journey around the world and see several important specimens, some of which were on display for the first time.
