This video demonstrates the process of cleaning a CCD or CMOS sensor cover glass. Some covers may be plastic and not glass so check with the manufacturer. If the cover is plastic you may need our Plastics Formula Polymer. Contact us for more details! Thank you to Woodland Hills Camera & Telescope for the use of the CCD camera! www.telescopes.net Most CCD and CMOS sensors have a cover over the actual sensor and this video shows you how to clean the cover. If you are cleaning the bare sensor please watch this video: • CCD and CMOS Sensor Cleaning While the cover glass is coated with polymer, take an opportunity to use a puffer or compressed air and gently blow air around the perimeter of the housing where dust and debris can be hiding that could migrate back onto your cover glass after dry polymer removal. Photonic Cleaning Technologies is exploring custom 3D printed dams to protect the mount structure or circuit board surrounding the sensor. Since the polymer is a liquid it may either adhere to, or wick under, a mount or circuit board and the dry film won't easily peel as normal. If you are interesting is a reusable 3D printed dam for your cover glass please email us at Sales@PhotonicCleaning.com. Our store page: https://www.photoniccleaning.com/
