Can I get a first contact on the army radio the Clansman PRC-352?

I have a collection of Military radios including the Clansman 352 which is a VHF manpack radio that cover 6m. I have attempted to get a contact on the radio for some time, so I decided to build my own antenna and take the radio to a high point and attempt again. In this video I use: Clansman 352 Sotabeams Tactical mini mast Homemade wire antenna (Flowerpot variant) Many thanks to: G6UA Lynda M6ODZ Mick MW0ISC Steve NOTE: The sotabeams antenna is hollow right up through the top section not as I described which stated the top section was solid. I had to poke a hole through some rubbish that had collected at the tip back at the factory I'm a licensed amateur radio operator from the United Kingdom.
