Really really liking the new deadeye and talon combo. Siege ready passive helps with the quicker reloads the which is the deadeye’s biggest drawback. The rifle is responsive and aims nicely. The handling feels closest to the regular diligence rifle and also has the same scope. The talon doesn’t really need the new gunslinger armor passive. There’s no recoil nor any need for reloading as long as you’re careful not to overheat. They pair nicely as the deadeye has very strong stagger and feels similar to the stagger force of the JAR-5 Dominator. This is really nice against heavy devastators. Hit them twice to open up their shield and then quickly swap to Talon to finish them off if you’re close range. The deadeye two-taps rocket devastators to the pelvis area. Hitting them once will stagger them, making a second follow up shot trivial. This is especially nice when they are on the move as it forces them to stop. I find the talon is best used as a burst weapon to finish off heavies or stragglers to help save ammo for the deadeye. You can fire off a few rounds to weaken up enemies then swap back to your primary and repeat. I noticed this increased efficiency in engagements. Both weapons are capable of one tapping all devastators if you’re accurate enough to land headshots.
