The UW’s assistive-feeding robot gets tested outside the lab

This video features University of Washington graduate student Amal Nanavati and community researcher Jonathan KO, who were part of a UW study where researchers deployed a robotic assistive feeding arm in real life environments where people would like to be fed to see how well the system worked. With this robotic arm, a user specifies what bite they want through a web app, and the system then feeds the user that bite.
