Christopher concludes his "checklist" when preaching the Psalms - things to look out for: ... 2. Think what's the context in history 3. Consider structure of the Psalm, looking out for: "Selah"; Chiasms 4. Emotions and affections of the Psalmist Then Christopher answers some significant questions when considering the Psalms: 1. Who are "the righteous" in the Psalms? 2. Can Jesus pray prayers of repentance? 3. Can we pray for judgement on the wicked? The rest of the session is an interactive session in which participants are encouraged to consider different Psalms and how they might be best taught. The Psalms considered are: Psalm 20 Psalm 57 Psalm 84 (Christopher's comments include a helpful potted summary of Zion from a Biblical Theological perspective.) Psalm 149
