Firewalls preventing the connection, antivirus conflicts, or unreliable network environments are typical causes for communication between the client and Zoom infrastructure to fail smoothly. The Error Code 100006000 (also referred to as 10006) in Zoom generally indicates a problem where essential files like ssb_sdk.dll can’t be copied during installation. This error often happens around 90% completion and is usually due to insufficient permissions or restricted access to modify necessary files. Other possible causes include interference from firewall settings, antivirus software, or insufficient disk space. Allow Zoom Through Windows Firewall: 1. Type in Control Panel in Windows search and press Enter. 2. Go to System and Security and click on Windows Defender Firewall. 3. On the left side of the window, click Allow an app or feature through Windows Defender Firewall. 4. Locate Zoom Video Conference, ensure it’s checked for Private and Public, and click OK. 5. Add Zoom manually via Allow another app if it’s not listed. Run Network Troubleshooter: 1. Type Troubleshoot in Windows search and press Enter. 2. Select Other troubleshooters. 3. Find Network & Internet troubleshooter from the list and select Run. 4. Wait till the process is finished and apply the offered fixes. 5. Restart your computer. Clear Zoom Cache: 1.
