Please consult with the relevant professionals for specific advice related to your situation. The things I share are my personal practices and habits that work for me and help build my self-esteem but always consult your doctor or skincare or health professional before trying anything that is mentioned here as what works for me may not work for you. Have you ever gone inside a drugstore and started browsing through the display shelves wondering which skincare treatment to buy? And as you go through all the products, you get even more confused? I'm not even looking at the price tag and I am already wondering if the efficiency of a product is as good as its brand? So you end up buying moisturizers, serum, toner, sunscreen and all, and that is okay but in this episode, I am going to show you a super ancient or old technique that I have been doing - not frequently- but occasionally, to help my skin feel firm and young (at least that is how I feel! lol) At 62, anything to make my skin feel smooth again is like winning the lottery. Joking aside, young or old, we need to take care of our skin. No amount of makeup can cover skin issues and besides, knowing that our skin is clear and healthy gives us a lot of confidence and it is all about being confident if we truly want to maintain our self-esteem especially on social media where we see a lot of negativity, implied perfectionism, discrimination, etc. Social media is not a competition. It is a place to learn from established experts and use these techniques so that we can become better versions of ourselves. These are my skin care practices that work for me and the reason I am sharing them is because I find them effective. Do consult your doctor or skin care professional though if you want to try anything that I do because I am not an expert and this is just a personal practice of mine. Make sure to always make the decision that is safe for you. My platform is a place for empowerment and support for one another. With inflation going on, any saving we could make on products is a blessing so share your skin techniques and let's help one another look and feel better about ourselves.
