I originally came to Liverpool Castle in Lever Park, Horwich, planning to capture some drone footage. However, with too many people around on the day, I decided to keep things grounded and film using an Insta360 X5 on a three-metre selfie stick instead. This video is made up of reframed 360° footage from a mix of stationary camera positions and gentle moving shots, exploring the castle from a range of unusual perspectives. I’ve also experimented with AI-assisted transitions, including the illusion of the camera flying through windows to move in and out of the castle. Rather than focusing on dramatic moments, this video is about quietly exploring the space and letting the movement and transitions guide the experience.
