Jama - Like A River (Jani R Ambient Dub) Russian singer and producer Jama has teamed up with Bryan Milton for our next single, "Like A River". This stunning downtempo gem is accompanied by innovative interpretations by US-based producer Cobalt Rabbit and Finnish label veteran Jani R. The Original Mix takes off with lush, floating pads, which construct a breathtaking atmosphere. Calm and refreshing percussion lines are added, and Jama's spell-binding vocals follow suit shortly thereafter. As the song progresses, brilliant melodies and sound effects are introduced, and subtle piano notes provide extra texture later. Cobalt Rabbit's remix begins with a haunting soundscape, while a strong, intriguing bassline slowly starts to emerge beneath. Throughout the track, numerous mesmerizing melodies are added, as well as fascinating percussion work and vocal effects. A truly astonishing atmosphere is introduced in Jani R's remix. Impressive sound effects, lush rhodes chords, and Jama's intriguing vocals combine amazingly well. A tiny piano melody appears later, which easily blends into the already astounding soundscape.
