In this webinar, Dr. Jae Woo Jang talks about the reconstruction of orbital wall fracture ”Past, Now and Future“ based on his experience of over 30 years: "There are various types of implants used for orbital fracture reconstruction surgery. I used silastic sheet at first, then medpore product, and now I use an absorbable material. There are still doctors who are not sure about the use of absorbable materials for orbital fracture surgery, but I would like to inform you that there is no problem with my experience so far. In addition, orbital fracture surgery is evolving into a patient customizing treatment in the future as well as the development of materials used. A 3D implant that accurately fits the patient’s fractured area using CT and navigation surgery for precise surgery will be widely used."
