In this video, we break down how Aurora managed to score early against TLPH and what really happened in these crucial early-game moments. TLPH actually had a solid punish when Pagu overextended. He likely didn’t expect that once KarlTzy hit level 4, he was already killable. That single timing window changed the flow—allowing Rosa to clear mid safely while Pagu checked for potential follow-ups. This strategy isn’t new. I first saw TLPH use this exact concept against RORA—the goal was simple: poke Yu Zhong early so he has zero impact during the turtle fight. Because Yu Zhong cut the lane, Oheb secured the first turtle, which was massive. Without Oheb there, the early game could’ve gone south fast. Watch Pharsa’s movement here—after recalling, he rotates top to punish Yu Zhong and Uranus, perfectly synced with the gold crab spawn. That’s high-level map awareness and a smart attempt to shut down Oheb. Aurora clearly understood who could deal with Yu Zhong, which is why they were comfortable letting Sanford have the hero. Same concept applies before the second turtle: once Yu Zhong is spotted, Aurora fully commits so there’s no threat during the objective take. Aurora had the edge here since Rosa and Pagu both had their ultimates, but things fell apart when Jaypee landed a crucial taunt, breaking their formation. Without his ultimate, there was simply nothing Aurora could do in that fight. This is a great example of how timing, hero priority, and small execution errors can completely flip early-game momentum.
