You would think for $305 plus taxes that the odometer on this here Fill-Rite pump meter would read ZERO ... but I suppose that's asking too much in the 21st century! Fill-Rite's customer service was excellent, however, and always has been with past issues. They are the ones that told me the meter face could be removed and the digits reset, even though they didn't go into explicit detail on exactly how to do it. That said it would've been much better had the meter been set to zero and CHECKED before it was sent out for shipment! There is the possibility that UPS dropped the thing which caused enough force to overcome the spring tension as shown in the video, so I suppose I can't blame Fill-Rite 100% on this without proof of how it actually left the factory. Still, life in the 21st century SUCKS on MANY fronts! Hope this helps if you have found a similar issue. -Enjoy!
