It is one of the most iconic landmarks in Japan, standing at a height of 634 meters (2,080 feet). Completed in 2012, it holds the title of the tallest structure in Japan and the second tallest in the world, after the Burj Khalifa in Dubai. The tower serves as a broadcasting hub for television and radio signals, particularly for the Kanto region. Besides its functional role, Tokyo Skytree is also a popular tourist destination, offering stunning panoramic views of Tokyo and its surrounding areas. On clear days, visitors can even catch a glimpse of Mount Fuji from its observation decks. Tokyo Skytree features two main observation decks: the Tembo Deck, located at 350 meters, and the Tembo Galleria, reaching 450 meters. Both decks offer breathtaking views and interactive exhibits. Additionally, the tower is part of the Tokyo Skytree Town complex, which includes a shopping mall, restaurants, and an aquarium, providing visitors with a variety of entertainment options. At night, the tower is illuminated with vibrant LED lights, which often change to commemorate special events or holidays. The illumination designs, named “Iki” and “Miyabi,” represent traditional Japanese aesthetics, adding cultural charm to the modern structure. Whether for sightseeing, dining, or simply marveling at its architectural brilliance, Tokyo Skytree remains a must-visit destination in Japan. *1F Solamachi Shotengai Shopping District* Along the 120m passageway named Solamachi Shotengai Shopping District in East Yard 1F, there are 35 food shops, sundries stores, and cafes. This area can be enjoyed by all who come to Tokyo Solamachi, as it is conveniently located above the subway station and has an open feeling since it is connected to a plaza.
