(Everyone say "Thank you, Adam," for once again not asking for our help 😉) Eric and Adam recently traveled to Huntingdon, PA, to tackle a storage unit stuffed to the brim with sci-fi, scholarly, and other unique titles. The unit belonged to a former bookseller, and to say he was fully stocked would be an understatement! Find out what we would consider to be a "success" in purchasing a unit like this (sight unseen!) from both a subject matter AND a financial standpoint. The figures might surprise you! Our most popular annual event is back — and bigger than ever. 🎪 The Harrisburg Book Festival is proud to host our annual outdoor tent sale with over 30,000 used books priced at $1, $2, and $3. The book sale will take place on Verbeke Street in front of the Broad Street Market, adjacent to the bookstore, from October 15th - 19th. This year’s sale will feature bargain books and hidden gems in fiction, history, politics, art, children’s, poetry, photojournalism, biography, sports, and much, much more.
