Hey yall. This has been sitting in unlisted and thought I'd unlist it to show the time capsule of how much Deadlock has changed in the last year and a half. This gameplay was a couple weeks before the gameplay embargo lifted and it was publicly listed on Steam, if I publicly posted this before I could've been banned. Some fun things to note in this video that will be foreign to most deadlock players as it's so old. At the time, there was no wall jumping or ropes for verticality. 4 lanes, purple and orange lane! Wraiths old ult that was ridiculously OP (held in the air vs slammed and let people walk). Bridge buffs being lower. Old midboss design with single crystal. The first really ugly shaders! Some items that no longer exist in the game, such as Ammo Scavenger and Soul Rebirth (Soul Rebirth was a 6k item that gave you free current rejuv crystal every life). Sevens Neon Prime logo. There was no ranked yet. Server queues ended at 2am and re-opened at 6am. Shiv had only been in the game for a week. At the time, the concurrent playercount was relatively low, in the single thousands. Deadlock was still relatively unknown to the masses. The game has come far! I love Deadlock, probably more than any game ever. It's reinvorgated my want to play video games and it's all I play.
